Gabe, Laura, and Cesar were selling chocolate bars when they met Dr. Bunsen a scientist. He had made a growth ray that had turned out to be a life ray so the D.A.T.A. Set had to take the animals to the zoo and Stego to the Jurassic period. Could they bring Stego home? Would they survive?

Opinion: I think the best part of the book was when they traveled back in time into the Mozzoraic Era.

Gabe, Laura, and Cesar, the bright minds of Newtonburg Elementary, live on a peaceful cul-de-sac. Known affectionately as the D.A.T.A. Set, each child excels in their own area of expertise. Their uneventful days of learning takes an unexpected twist when they encounter Dr. Gustav Bunsen, a quirky scientist who propels them into a whirlwind of adventures.

Dr. Bunsen’s latest creation, a growth ray, accidentally zaps some tiny animal toys, causing them to not only grow but also come to life! The D.A.T.A. Set is thrilled with their new miniature pets… until they keep growing. Suddenly, there’s a real elephant in the room, along with a chimp, a giraffe, and even a cute little dinosaur. When these creatures escape, it’s up to the D.A.T.A. Set to find them. But can they capture the mini beasts before they become big enough to cause chaos in the town? You’ll have to find out when you read the first book in the series.
