Policies for Group Programs:

Sessions:

The schedule for group programs is predetermined and will be communicated to participants in advance.

If a participant is unable to attend a session, there will be no makeup sessions or credits provided.

Tuition:

Tuition for group programs is due in full before the start of the program.
Late payment will result in late fees of 25% of your current monthly invoice on the 2nd of the month.

Cancellation:

In the event of cancellation by the program organizer (host parent), a full refund will be provided.

If a participant wishes to cancel their enrollment, a 30-day notice is required. Please contact us for specific details via email ([email protected]).

In the event that a child is leaving the group, the host parent may replace them with another child, subject to agreement by the program organizer. Please communicate these changes via email ([email protected]).

Obligations

Participants:

Participants are expected to attend all scheduled sessions with their supplies ready, battery charged, and the Chrome or Safari browser up to date.
Active engagement, participation, and respect for fellow participants are essential.

Parents/Guardians:

Parents/Guardians are responsible for ensuring that participants attend the scheduled sessions.
Please provide a 24-hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session.

No Warranties:

We make no promises or warranties regarding specific outcomes or results from participating in the group programs.

Policies for Tutoring:

Sessions:

  • If your schedule changes for some reason, we can schedule a makeup lesson for another day. Please provide a 24-hour notice via text and email to arrange a makeup session.
  • Makeup lessons will only be scheduled if a 24-hour notice is given; otherwise, no makeup lessons will be provided.
  • Scheduled time off: We understand that holiday seasons and vacations may arise. Please note that we cannot hold your spot beyond two weeks during such periods.

Tuition:

  • Tuition payment is due by the 1st day of the month. If payment is not completed by this date, a late fee of 25% of your current monthly invoice will be applied.
  • If tuition payment is not received by the 3rd day of the month, your child’s time slot will be dropped from the schedule, and the slot will be given to another student.
  • Paid tuition is non-refundable and will be forfeited if a student discontinues enrollment. In cases of medical or other emergencies where a 30-day notice is impossible to give, please contact us, and we will do our best to accommodate your situation.

Cancellation:

  • If your student is ready to discontinue tutoring or if you plan to test out another educational service, a 30-day notice via email is required ([email protected]). Failure to provide a 30-day notice will result in a fee equivalent to half of your monthly package.

Late Arrival:

  • Please note that fees are calculated based on the scheduled times, and no adjustment will be made for time lost due to late arrival by the student beyond 5 minutes.
  • If the tutor arrives late, any lost time will be compensated by extending the lesson by mutual agreement.

Obligations

Tutor:

  • The Tutor will structure lessons to optimize the student’s learning experience.
  • The Tutor will keep all information confidential and will only contact other parties involved in the student’s education with permission from the student or parents.
  • The Tutor will not assign any duties or obligations under this tutoring contract to a third party.
  • The Tutor will not be required to execute homework or assignments on behalf of the student.

Student:

  • The Student will assist the Tutor in identifying problem areas that require specific tutoring.
  • The Student agrees that assignments, exercises, or homework are an integral part of tutoring and undertakes to complete such work in a timely manner.

Parent/Guardian:

  • Parents/Guardians should ensure the students attend all scheduled sessions with their supplies ready, battery charged, and the Chrome or Safari browser up to date.
  • Parents/Guardians should be present or nearby during tutoring sessions.
  • Please provide a 24-hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a tutoring session.

Tutoring:

  • Our tutoring sessions incorporate educational games that build various skills, from academic to critical thinking.
  • A portion of the time will be dedicated to core foundation work, including reading aloud, worksheets, and summer homework projects.

No Warranties: The Tutor makes no promises or warranties regarding a student’s performance as a result of the tutoring provided.
