Hello there, fellow adventurers! I’m Norman—a West Highland Terrier with big dreams, bigger paws, and the biggest love for peanut butter. Seriously, if you wave a jar of that stuff in front of me, I’ll stop in my tracks, tongue wagging, eyes wide. My humans bake biscuits all the time (which smells AMAZING), but not all the treats are for me (which is NOT amazing). That’s okay though—they run a “Barkery,” whatever that is. As long as my peanut butter jar stays full, which means my belly stays full, then I’m happy!
Now, here’s the thing. For a long time, my humans thought I couldn’t have treats because I’m allergic to all sorts of things—peas, rice, potatoes… Oh my! But guess what? I’m not allergic to the best thing on earth: peanut butter! And so, the Great Biscuit Experiment began. Thanks to my humans, I’m now the CTO (Chief Tasting Officer) and do the official taste-testing of the finest biscuits around.
Besides peanut butter, I live for playing, napping, and hunting down crumbs (even when my humans say, “No snacks today, Norman”). Oh, and cuddling! I used to have a big sister—well, she was older, not bigger. I miss her bossing me around, especially when she’d steal my cozy nap spots. She’d let me cuddle up on the corner of the big pillow which was fine with me. But now, it’s just me… but trust me, I’ve got plenty of tales to tell about Bella and my adventures.
I look handsome any time of day. What do you mean I have bedhead?

I can’t finish without telling you about my big sister, Bella.
She lived to be nearly 17 years old and was the boss of EVERYTHING, trust me, I know! She loved being held and soaking up all the attention, but walks? No thanks. She hated them… almost as much as she hated puddles. Bella was a delicate little lady, always so proper. Her favorite thing in the world was her monkey toy. She’d carry it around, play with it, and even sleep with it every night. I miss her bossing me around, well, most of the time!
