Does your young reader crave exciting stories and love getting creative? Welcome to the EllRay’s Adventure Book Club—a 4-week live online book club designed for kids ages 7–10!

 

In this club, we dive into the fun and relatable adventures of EllRay, a brave and funny kid who learns important life lessons as he navigates school, friends, and family. Each week, kids will connect with EllRay’s story, tackle his challenges through games and crafts, and make new friends along the way. With each book, we’ll explore how to be strong, kind, and true to ourselves—even when the going gets tough!

 

What to Expect Each Week

 

In this action-packed club, your child will enjoy more than just reading. Over the course of four weeks, they’ll:

1. Dive into EllRay’s World

Each week, we’ll read a different book from the EllRay Jakes series by Sally Warner, exploring the fun and challenges EllRay faces as he stands up to bullies, shines in front of his friends, and stays true to himself. Through guided discussions, we’ll help your child build empathy, confidence, and resilience—just like EllRay.

2. Play Interactive Story-Based Games

Get ready for game time! Each week, your child will engage in a book-inspired game that lets them step into EllRay’s shoes. These interactive games are designed to encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork, all while building confidence and creativity.

3. Create Unique Crafts Connected to the Story

Kids will love making themed crafts that tie directly into the story of the week. From creating their own “courage badges” to building mini replicas of EllRay’s school, our hands-on projects allow kids to engage deeply with the book while expressing themselves creatively.

4. Weekly Group Meetups

In our weekly live sessions, young readers will discuss the week’s story, share their thoughts, and work on activities in a fun, friendly group setting. It’s a safe, supportive environment where they can build social skills, make new friends, and feel part of a team.
