❄️ Step Into history and meet some of the great masters which influence our modern lives

Spark your child’s curiosity and turn reading into an unforgettable journey through time! The Adventures With Jack & Annie and the Masters Book Club offers busy moms a ready-to-go, 2026 educational experience that blends the magic of the Magic Tree House series with hands-on learning. Over four weeks, your student will travel from the Renaissance to the 1889 World’s Fair, building essential vocabulary and critical thinking skills through interactive games, creative crafts, and lively discussions led by experts. It’s more than just a book club—it’s an immersive adventure that brings history’s greatest masters to life right in your home.
  • Night of the New Magicians

: Merlin sends Jack and Annie to the 1889 World’s Fair in Paris, France. Their mission is to find four “new magicians”—who are actually famous inventors like Alexander Graham Bell and Thomas Edison—and deliver an urgent message while protecting them from an evil sorcerer.

  • Monday with a Mad Genius

: To help save Merlin from a deep “sorrow,” the siblings travel to Renaissance Italy to find the second of four secrets of happiness. They spend the day with Leonardo da Vinci, learning about his brilliant inventions and artistic vision.

  • Moonlight on the Magic Flute

: Jack and Annie are whisked away to 18th-century Austria to help a young musical prodigy named Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Dressed in uncomfortable period clothing, they must find the “budding genius” at a palace and help him bring his gift of music to the world.

  • To the Future, Ben Franklin!

: The tree house takes the pair to Philadelphia in 1787, where they meet the famous founding father and inventor Benjamin Franklin. They must help him with a daring mission to ensure he stays committed to signing the U.S. Constitution.

Why Moms Love This Club:

  • Academic Growth: Kids naturally expand their vocabulary and historical knowledge while having so much fun they won’t even realize they’re “studying”.

FAQ

  1. Who is the program designed for? The program is designed for children ages 6-9, but it can also be suitable for older children who are reluctant readers, learning American English, or need a small step up to chapter books.
  2. What books will my child be reading? Your child will be reading Magic Treehouse and Magic Treehouse Merlin Mission books, which are page-turners that appeal to both boys and girls. These books take your child on a journey through time and across the United States alongside Jack and Annie. You will get a full list of books and supplies in your welcome email.
  3. What skills will my child gain from the program? Your child will gain invaluable skills such as reading and vocabulary development, comprehension, fine motor skills, problem-solving, logic and reasoning, social and emotional learning, and public speaking.
  4. What kind of activities will my child be doing? Your child will be doing hands-on activities that encourage them to explore their creativity, including sharing artwork, playing games, and crafting something inspired by the book’s main theme.
  5. How much time per week does my child need to dedicate to the program? The homework is equal to 2-3 hours per week, which includes daily reading depending on how fast your child reads and writes. Many kids can complete the reading in just one hour. This allows them time to write four trivia questions about the book they read, with answers provable in the book’s text, and to prepare for the game of the week.
  6. Are the books historically accurate? Please note that all Magic Treehouse and Magic Treehouse Merlin Mission books are works of fiction and may include some fictional ideas about possible real historic events. They are not meant to be used as historical textbooks in any way. The goal of these books is to inspire children to learn more about the time period Jack and Annie visit, the main theme, and to build reading and comprehension confidence.
  7. What technology do I need to participate in the live online book club? You will need a computer or tablet with a reliable internet connection, a webcam, and a microphone. I recommend using headphones to improve the sound quality.
  8. How long are the book club sessions?  The book club sessions are typically 1 hour long, once a week for 8 weeks.
  9. What if my child misses a session?  If your child misses a session, they will still have access to the materials and activities covered in that session. I encourage children to catch up on reading the book missed as soon as possible to keep up with the group.
  10. What is the cost of the book club?  The cost of the book club is $105.00 per child. This includes access to all 8 sessions, printable materials and activities, and homework assignments.
  11. Who will be leading the book club sessions?  The book club sessions will be led by Ms. Kyria, a teacher and experienced book club facilitator. Ms. Kyria has a passion for children’s literature and a talent for engaging children in fun and interactive learning experiences.
  12. What happens if my child doesn’t like the book?  I understand that not every book will appeal to every child. However, I encourage children to give each book a chance and participate in the activities and discussions to the best of their ability. If your child is struggling with a particular book, I will be available to offer support and guidance.
  13. Does the club provide the books? No, the club does not provide copies of the books to buy or lend. However, the books I selected for the club are widely available at local libraries and used book stores, as well as major retailers in both digital and physical formats. While you may need to get on a waitlist for some popular titles at the library, I encourage you to support your local library and community by utilizing these resources.
