- How long does the book club last? “The Secret Ingredient Society” runs over a course of 4 weeks. The live session is one hour of dedicated time to thoroughly enjoy and discuss the book, alongside other magical activities.
- Can more than one daughter participate? Absolutely! If you have more than one daughter in the age group, I encourage their participation.
- Is there any way to interact with other club members outside of scheduled meetings? Yes! I have a ClassDojo set up just for this club. It is a private online forum like system where club members can share their thoughts, progress on activities, and interact with one another in a safe, moderated environment.

- What technology do I need to participate in the live online book club? You will need a computer or tablet with a reliable internet connection, a webcam, and a microphone.
- What if we need to misses a session? If you need to misses a session, they will still have access to the materials and activities covered in that session. I encourage everyone to catch up on reading the book missed as soon as possible to keep up with the group.
- What is the cost of the book club? The cost of the book club is $90.00 for the Mother & Daughter team. This includes access to all 4 sessions, printable materials and activities.
- Who will be leading the book club sessions? The book club sessions will be led by Ms. Kyria, a teacher and experienced book club facilitator who is also a huge fan of both the book and the streaming series Just Add Magic. Ms. Kyria has a passion for children’s literature and a talent for engaging children in fun and interactive learning experiences.
- Does the club provide the books? No, the club does not provide copies of the books to buy or lend. However, the books I selected for the club are widely available at local libraries and used book stores, as well as major retailers in both digital and physical formats. While you may need to get on a waitlist for some popular titles at the library, I encourage you to support your local library and community by utilizing these resources. P.S. the Kindle edition of the second book as of this post (April 2024) is $1.99.
